Straps

Panel 1. In the umpires' room before a game, Tyler struggles with the back strap of his chest protector in front of a mirror. His outer uniform shirt hangs nearby. Tyler: “Sam, can you get this?”

Panel 2. Sam steps behind Tyler and tightens the strap. The mirror shows Tyler and the strap pulling tight by itself, with no reflection of Sam. Sam: “Hold still.”

Panel 3. Brad walks past carrying a coffee, sees the mirror and stops dead. No dialogue.

Panel 4. Brad rubs his eyes and walks away as Sam continues helping Tyler. Brad: “No more beer on the road.”
