Charity Night

Panel 1. At the I-80 League's charity night under the ballpark lights, a tall mirror stands on a small stage covered with a sheet. Jeff holds the microphone as Sam approaches. Jeff: “And now, our plate umpire!”

Panel 2. Sam steps up beside the covered mirror. Phones are raised throughout the crowd. Sam: “I will now make my reflection disappear.”

Panel 3. Sam pulls off the sheet and stands in front of the mirror. The glass reflects the stage, the lights and the crowd, but no umpire. Crowd: “Ohhh!”

Panel 4. Later, Jeff, Brad and Tyler crowd around Sam. Jeff: “How did you do it?” Sam: “A magician never tells.”
