Panel 1. At a North Platte night game five hours from home, the umpire crew stands together between innings while Duane shouts from behind the backstop. Caption: “North Platte. Five hours from home.” Duane: “YOU SUCK, BLUE!”

Panel 2. The four umpires freeze and look toward the stands. Brad: “Is that Duane?” Tyler: “He drove five hours?”

Panel 3. Sam keeps his back partly toward the stands and does not turn around. Sam: “Six. He stopped for pie.”

Panel 4. Jeff stares at Sam in baffled suspicion while Sam looks ahead. Jeff: “How could you possibly know that?” Sam: “Cherry.”
